Breast lift

Renaissant's breast lift procedure also known as a mastopexy, can correct sagging or loss of volume caused by weight change, having children or the ageing process. Our industryleading plastic surgeons use exceptional cosmetic surgical techniques and revolutionary procedures to help you achieve firmer, fuller and more shapely breasts.

We'll craft your journey to improved aesthetic health

Throughout this journey, we'll engage with you closely and with genuine empathy to understand your breast lift goals and provide world-class results. Prior to the procedure, you will have several consultations with your surgeon and specialist nurse to examine and measure your breasts, as well as to confirm the repositioning of the nipple and areola, as it usually is moved higher during the procedure.

The surgery will involve making an incision around the areola, a small vertical incision and an incision under the crease of the breast. This will include removing any loose skin to achieve a firmer breast and repositioning of the nipple. The skin surrounding the nipple will then be brought together to reshape the bust. Most commonly your dissolvable sutures will be located around the areola and in a vertical line extending downwards from the nipple to the crease of the breast and along the length of the fold.

Your surgery will be performed under general anaesthetic, with the length of procedure and stay in hospital dependent on the type of surgery. During your time in hospital you will be closely monitored by an experienced medical team who help manage pain and discomfort and ensure a smooth transition to discharge.

On discharge, you will be provided with a comprehensive plan to manage the wounds and associated pain. Some redness, swelling and bruising around the wound is normal and will eventually settle. A compression garment is required to be worn for six weeks following your surgical procedure to achieve an optimal outcome. Driving is to be avoided for the first two weeks after surgery, with heavy lifting, strenuous exercise and unnecessary strain on your wound to be avoided for six weeks. Personalised discharge information will be provided by our clinical team throughout your recovery period.

Breast Lift is a suitable treatment for:

  • Sagging breasts
